The key feature of cooperative learning is its ability to transform both the space and the time in classroom. This is so, because knowledge is not only concentrated exclusively in the teacher, but in the students instead, who work in small groups as well as teaching other classmates. What is important in this type of learning is that students learn through a bi-directional process since they can not only concentrate on working in groups and helping each other, but also they free up their teacher. On her/ his part, the teacher dedicates time to help those students who have difficulties. What is more, the layout of the space is transformed to create small groups that work with each other, thus the classroom becomes more interactive and dynamic.
